Dryer Burner

A dryer is a type of drying equipment used for processing large quantities of materials. The dryer is equipped with a burner that sprays fuel to produce high-temperature flue gas, commonly used for drying sand, mineral powder, coal slime, chicken manure, clean coal, distiller's grains, sawdust, mushroom residue coal slime, wood chips, cow dung, sand, graphite, feed, copper powder, desulfurization gypsum, tail coal, sludge, shaped coal, medicinal residue, fluorite ore, organic fertilizer, etc. It features large drying capacity, uniform temperature, strong fuel adaptability, and low operating cost.
Introduction to the principle of dryer equipment:
The wet material to be dried is conveyed by a belt conveyor or bucket elevator to the hopper, then enters the feeding end through the feeder and feeding pipeline. The slope of the feeding pipeline must be greater than the natural angle of repose of the material to ensure smooth flow into the dryer. The dryer cylinder is a rotating drum slightly inclined from the horizontal line. Material is added from the higher end, the burner is installed at the lower end, and fuel is mixed and burned by the burner to spray high-temperature flue gas in counterflow contact with the material. There is also a configuration where the burner is installed at the high end (feeding end) of the dryer equipment, and the fuel is mixed and burned by the burner to produce high-temperature flue gas that flows together with the material into the drum.
As the drum rotates, the material moves under gravity to the lower end. During the forward movement of the wet material inside the drum, the high-temperature flue gas dries the wet material, which is then discharged at the outlet end via a belt conveyor or screw conveyor.
The fuel types for dryer burners include gas, fuel oil, and pulverized coal. There are generally two drying methods: direct heating and indirect heating. In direct heating drying, the burner sprays flame and the drying material are in the same space; in indirect heating, the burner sprays flame and the drying material are separated, with the combustion flame producing high-temperature flue gas that radiates heat to the material through the drum. This method is generally suitable for materials that are not easy to expose to open flames and require high heating process standards.
