Burner Control Method

Dryer burner control methods are generally divided into three types: manual control, instrument control, PLC control
1. Manual control
Manual control, as the name implies, relies on human adjustment of the fuel amount and combustion air volume; however, it generally requires the installation of solenoid valves and flame detection devices to achieve basic safety protections such as "flameout protection," "safe ignition, flameout cut-off." The advantage is simple operation and fewer on-site devices.
Manual control type is generally suitable for special fuels (heavy oil, waste oil, coal powder), due to fuel characteristics, it is not suitable for automatic control types, otherwise it may cause failures in valve groups and other equipment accessories, resulting in poor operational reliability. Another situation is to minimize equipment investment under the premise of ensuring safety, depending on the user's actual situation.
2. Instrument control
Instrument + Control valve + Solenoid valve + Variable frequency control method relies on on-site sensors, generally designated as position temperature sensors, which send signals back to the instrument. The instrument makes judgments and uses PID control, sending signals to the fuel control valve and combustion air control system to adjust the burner flame, thereby achieving precise temperature control.
3. PLC control
PLC+ Control valve + Solenoid valve + Variable frequency and other control methods, on-site given signals upload the on-site usage signals to PLC , such as on-site temperature, fuel pressure, combustion air pressure, flame signals, and other on-site feedback signals, PLC through calculation, issue commands to the fuel control system and combustion air control system to achieve precise temperature control, PLC which is more accurate compared to instrument control. Human-machine interaction is well done, customers can change parameters according to on-site conditions, and it can also realize communication with the customer's central control, enabling remote monitoring and control of the on-site burner operation.
