Cement kiln burner: Equipment configuration, functions and main technical indicators

2025-04-08

Cement kiln natural gas burner combustion system equipment configuration, equipment functions and main technical indicators.

  1. The liquefied natural gas combustion system of the rotary kiln and decomposing furnace consists of a skid-mounted gas station, burner, natural gas valve group station, mobile trolley (reused), and control system.

  2. Rotary kiln burner function: rapid and enhanced combustion of fuel. Adjustment and control of flame length, thickness, and heat intensity. Real-time control of the combustion flame to meet the process requirements of the rotary kiln according to process needs.

  3. Ignition system function: Uses an automatic liquefied natural gas ignition method.

  4. Natural gas valve group station function: flow regulation, automatic and rapid shutoff of natural gas in case of failure, automatic ignition, nitrogen purging of pipelines, leak detection of valves and connecting parts, and combustion status monitoring (high and low pressure monitoring of fuel gas, fire extinguishing, and deflagration detection).

  5. Control system function: start-stop control of the combustion system, quantitative supply and regulation of natural gas, fire extinguishing protection, rapid shutoff, automatic ignition, explosion-proof purging, and combustion status monitoring. With central control interface.

  6. Ground rail mobile device (reused): Consists of a track, mobile trolley, and transmission device, allowing the burner to move forward and backward; up, down, left, and right swing 3°.

  7. An automatic fire procedure is executed each time ignition occurs. That is: purging - Roots blower starts at 8% wind - high-pressure ignition - ignition natural gas opens - fire detection detects a flame signal - main fuel gas opens at 10% to ignite a large fire - Roots blower provides 12% wind - ignition successful.

  8. Natural gas shutoff protection configuration, i.e., a shutoff valve is installed in the valve group station. When a combustion flame malfunction occurs and the fuel gas needs to be quickly shut off for protection, the shutoff valve will act to quickly shut off the fuel gas passage, preventing fuel gas leakage. In the following fault situations, the quick shutoff valve will also automatically shut off the natural gas to ensure safe operation.

  9. Due to the positive pressure and dust inside the kiln, the detection effect of the ultraviolet detector on the flame signal inside the kiln may be affected. In particular, the detection effect of the pilot flame is affected. That is, the pilot flame may actually ignite, but there is no fire detection signal. For this situation, the burner is designed with a dual-channel detection device.
