1. Biogas Components

Biogas is a combustible gas produced by the high-temperature pyrolysis or gasification of biomass materials such as crop straw, wood waste, edible fungus residue, poultry and livestock manure, and sewage sludge. The main components are hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and a small amount of low-molecular-weight hydrocarbons. Other components include nitrogen, carbon dioxide, water, tar, and particulates. Biogas produced immediately after biomass heating still contains a certain amount of heat. Biomass pyrolysis or gasification produces crude fuel gas, which is purified and its components adjusted to obtain high-quality synthesis gas. The formation of biogas can be divided into biomass gasification and pyrolysis. Biomass gasification is a thermal decomposition reaction that occurs at high temperatures (usually 1000℃) in a gasifier with the introduction of suitable air, oxygen, or steam. Biomass pyrolysis is the process of gas production under high-temperature anaerobic or anoxic conditions. See the gasification and pyrolysis sections for details. Under thermal action, biomass with large molecules decomposes to produce small molecule gases such as hydrogen, methane, and ethane. Carbon monoxide is produced by the high-temperature water-carbon reaction of water vapor and carbon. Other components are also produced by thermal decomposition.

2. Biogas Application Scenarios

Biogas is mainly used in heating equipment such as hot air furnaces and boilers. Zhongwei Company has developed various types of burners to match the production needs of various application scenarios for low calorific value chemical gas characteristics. Main applications include boilers, dryers, hot air furnaces, and incinerators. Control systems such as damper-adjustable proportional, frequency-adjustable proportional, touch screen digital control, and PLC frequency-adjustable proportional control can be configured according to user requirements.

1. Ignition Method: Uses a pilot flame ignition method with a dedicated ignition gun.

2. Flame Detection Method: UV ultraviolet detection, equipped with dual-probe flame detection, flameout protection, automatic ignition, valve leak detection, over-temperature and over-pressure protection, and status parameter display functions.

3. The combination of internal mixing combustion technology and swirl combustion technology achieves safe, stable, and complete combustion of low calorific value fuel.

4. A safety protection and adjustment system can be configured to achieve functions such as programmed ignition, automatic adjustment, and fault protection.

5. The valve group is designed with double shutoff, and flame detection uses dual-probe detection to ensure stable combustion of the equipment.

6. If the biogas pressure is low, the pipeline is designed with a flashback arrester to prevent biogas from burning in the pipeline and causing explosions. A double electric regulating valve is used, and a segmented fire, damper-adjustable proportional, frequency-adjustable proportional, touch screen digital control, or PLC frequency-adjustable proportional control system can be configured according to user requirements.
