1. Fuel Properties

Diesel, heavy oil, tire oil, biodiesel, and residual oil are all fuel oils.

Fuel oils have a very high calorific value, generally 40000~42000kJ/kg. They have a high combustion temperature and strong flame radiation capacity. Compared to diesel, heavy oil has the following characteristics:

(1) Low viscosity. This facilitates pipeline transportation and improves atomization for better combustion efficiency; heavy oil has high viscosity due to its high wax content and requires preheating to 100℃ or higher to reduce viscosity.

(2) Low pour point. The general solidification temperature of heavy oil is 22~36℃; for heavy oil with high wax content and high pour point, appropriate heating measures should be taken to facilitate transportation and loading and unloading.

(3) High flash point. A higher preheating temperature can be used to facilitate transportation and atomization. The flash point of general heavy oil is 180~330℃, which is higher than the required preheating temperature.

(4) Low mechanical impurities and water content in the oil. High levels of impurities and water content not only reduce the calorific value of heavy oil but also cause nozzle clogging and flame fluctuation during use, so filtration is necessary to improve combustion efficiency.

(5) Low sulfur content. The general sulfur content is 0.15%~0.30%, but some heavy oils have a sulfur content as high as 2%, which causes adverse consequences during use.

Biodiesel is a typical "green energy" with good environmental performance, good engine starting performance, good fuel performance, wide range of raw materials, and renewability. After burning biodiesel, hydrocarbons are reduced by 55%~60%, particulate matter by 20%~50%, CO by more than 45%, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by 75%~85%. Biodiesel refers to fatty acid methyl esters or ethyl esters formed by the esterification of vegetable oils (such as rapeseed oil, soybean oil, peanut oil, corn oil, cottonseed oil, etc.), animal oils (such as fish oil, lard, beef tallow, mutton tallow, etc.), waste fats and oils, or microbial oils with methanol or ethanol. Vegetable oils and animal fats that have a certain structural symbol of fatty acid glycerides (i.e., triglycerides) are usually used as raw materials for biodiesel.

Methanol diesel: A new type of environmentally friendly and clean fuel made by strictly blending diesel, methanol, and additives according to a certain volume or mass ratio. Clean methanol diesel is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly fuel prepared by adding a certain proportion (15%, 50%, 90%) of denatured fuel methanol to the national standard light diesel oil by volume or weight ratio. Methanol diesel has the appearance of a clear and transparent liquid similar to diesel, and its viscosity, calorific value, and other indicators are close to diesel. It can replace diesel for use in industrial boilers, stoves, and other fields.

2. System Advantages

(1) The control system uses electronic ratio control, and the combustion ratio can be freely adjusted according to the fuel characteristics.

(2) Advanced micro-explosion atomizing gun is used: Its atomization effect is much better than conventional mechanical atomizing guns and medium atomizing guns. The flame temperature is 300℃ higher than that of conventional guns, which can reduce energy consumption by 7~15%, and the energy-saving effect is significant. Due to its low pressure and large nozzle characteristics, there is no problem of impurity blockage of oil holes, and the operation is stable and reliable, and the service life is long.

(3) The system can be optionally equipped with a high-power fuel heater with PID temperature control to ensure that the incoming oil temperature meets the requirements of good fluidity, solving the safety hazard caused by the temperature of the residual oil tank being far higher than the flash point and the volatilization loss of light component fuel.

(4) The oil flow adjustment ratio is greater than 10:1 (only 4:1 for conventional mechanical atomizing guns), which not only effectively improves the temperature control range but also ensures the safety of ignition.

(5) Long service life: Because the oil pump and fan operate at a very low speed when the output is small and medium (the oil pump and fan use frequency conversion control). This greatly reduces the temperature rise and mechanical wear of the motor, thereby effectively extending the service life of the oil pump and fan.

(6) High reliability: The system performs real-time monitoring of various important parameters such as oil pressure, oil temperature, atomizing gas pressure, and flame conditions.

(7) High safety: The system also has multiple continuous protection functions. When starting, the oil cannot be sprayed if the ignition gun is not ignited. Once a re-ignition failure occurs during production, the machine can automatically stop spraying oil while issuing an alarm, fundamentally eliminating the occurrence of explosion and deflagration accidents.

3. Applicable Scenarios
