1. Working Principle

Qualified limestone granules fall from the top hopper of the preheater through the discharge chute into the main body of the preheater, where they are preheated by high-temperature flue gas from the rotary kiln tail. 800 Above ℃, the limestone partially decomposes, then is pushed by a hydraulic push rod into the transfer chute, and subsequently enters the rotary kiln for high-temperature calcination; the high-temperature flue gas from the rotary kiln tail is cooled to below ℃ before entering the flue gas treatment system. 230 After high-temperature calcination in the rotary kiln, the lime falls into the vertical cooler, where the high-temperature lime is cooled by cold air blown in by the cooling fan, lowering the lime temperature to ambient temperature. +60 Below ℃, the lime is discharged from the vertical cooler. The secondary air used to cool the lime is heated into high-temperature combustion-supporting air and enters the rotary kiln to participate in combustion, reducing the primary air ratio of the burner and achieving energy-saving combustion.

The calcination principle of the white lime rotary kiln is the high-temperature decomposition of limestone (mainly calcium carbonate) to produce calcium oxide (quicklime) and carbon dioxide.

2. Burner Selection

  1. Gas Burner

Fuel: natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, blast furnace gas, coke oven gas, light hydrocarbon gas, etc.;

  1. Oil Burner

Fuel: diesel, methanol, heavy oil, alcohol-based fuels, etc.

  1. Pulverized Coal Burner

Fuel: pulverized coal

Currently, most in the industry use gas burners and gas oxygen-enriched full-oxygen burners.

3. Applicable Industries

Suitable for calcining limestone in metallurgy, chemical, and building materials industries.
