Common Troubleshooting Solutions for Multi-Channel Burners

Fault Phenomena

Causes

Handling Methods

Precautions

Head Coking

1 Primary air forms vortices on the outside;

2 There is a large amount of dust in the vortex circulation area;

3 The head temperature is relatively high;

1 Adjust the flame shape to avoid excessive temperature;

2 Ensure the head refractory material is intact to avoid exposure causing high temperature;

1 When making poking holes in the kiln head cover, avoid damaging the refractory material;

2 Each burner can be replaced or repaired in time according to the situation;

3 No air leakage is allowed;

Head Burnout

  1. Refractory material on the head falls off;
  2. Dust concentration at the kiln head is too high; 3 Dust has strong abrasive properties;

4 Material structure is loose and composition is unqualified;

5 Used for too long;

1 Pay attention to protecting the refractory material on the head;

2 Appropriately reduce the dust concentration at the kiln head to reduce sand flying;

3 Replace head parts if damage is severe;

1 When fuel is stopped, do not stop air; keep cold air flowing into the burner to cool the head;

2 Contact professional manufacturer technicians when replacing parts;

Deformation of the annular gap at the nozzle outlet

1 The head is baked at high temperature and heated unevenly by the spray, without timely ventilation cooling;

2 Support devices between pipes are worn, squeezed, or failed;

3 Used for too long;

1 When stopping the kiln, stop the kiln but not the air; ensure appropriate cold air flows into the burner to cool the head;

2 Replace deformed parts that cannot be restored;

Contact professional manufacturer technicians when replacing parts;

Burner Bending

1 Excessive material accumulation at the burner head;

2 Refractory material falling off causes pipe body to expand and bend due to heat;

1 Clean accumulated material at the burner head in time;

2 The length inserted into the kiln can be appropriately shortened;

1 Timely repair refractory material after it falls off; 2 Pay attention to curing after refractory material is applied;

The curing time must meet the requirements specified in the refractory material manual;

Short service life of refractory material;

  1. Poor quality refractory material;
  2. Anchor nail spacing too wide;

大;

3 Refractory layer too thin;

1 Use special refractory material;

2 Reasonably adjust the spacing and direction of anchor nails;

3 Maintain an appropriately thick refractory layer; 4 If possible, cast vertically; alternate use of two burners;

Do not use expired or ineffective refractory material;

Flame bifurcation, deformation, leaning to one side, irregular shape;

1 Used for too long, deformation of the head outlet annular gap;

2 Foreign object blockage at the head air duct outlet;

3 Improper ratio of inner and outer air usage;

4 Too far from the kiln mouth; large deviation between burner center and kiln center;

多;

1 Before ignition, clean slag inside the pipes;

2 Check for foreign object blockage at the head; adjust inner and outer air ratio;

4 Maintain appropriate distance of the head end face inserted into the kiln;

5 Adjust the relative position between burner center and kiln center;

When applying refractory material, avoid dropping slag into the air duct
