1. Working Principle
Zinc oxide rotary kiln crushes zinc furnace materials and coke powder into particles smaller than 40 target particle size, mixing zinc furnace materials and coke according to the ratio 1 : 0.30 ~ 0.33 to obtain a mixed material, which is then formed into pellets with an effective diameter of 8-13 mm. The pelletized mixture is fed into the rotary kiln for smelting. When smelting zinc oxide ore or zinc-containing industrial slag with zinc content of 13 %~ 23 %, it significantly saves coke or coal; the smelted product has good quality, improved productivity, and low clinker formation. The calcination temperature is 1100-1200 ℃, and the raw materials include zinc concentrate, zinc-containing sludge, zinc-containing tailings, steel plant dust, steel plant flue dust, zinc-containing flue dust, zinc-containing dust sludge, blast furnace secondary dust, converter secondary dust, electric furnace dust, steelmaking LT ash, converter OG sludge, blast furnace gas sludge, blast furnace gravity dust, etc.
2. Burner Selection
- Gas Burner
Fuel: natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, blast furnace gas, coke oven gas, light hydrocarbon gas, etc.;
- Oil Burner
Fuel: diesel, methanol, heavy oil, alcohol-based fuels, etc.
Industry Case : Currently, the Xinjiang Hotan New Mine Group Kunlun Zinc daily 3000 tons zinc oxide project uses our company's natural gas multi-channel burner for the zinc oxide defluorination and dechlorination project, 2023 year 7 month has officially started production.
