Carbon Rotary Kiln

2025-08-30

1. Working Principle

Carbon raw materials enter the kiln cylinder from the high end of the discharge pipe at the kiln tail, which is inclined and slowly rotating. Due to the inclination and rotation of the kiln body, the material both rolls circumferentially and moves axially from the high end to the low end, achieving uniform mixing and reaction; fuel is injected from the kiln head, burning to generate high temperatures. Heat is transferred to the material through flame radiation, hot gas convection, and kiln brick conduction. The material undergoes processes of preheating, decomposition, firing, and cooling inside the kiln, completing physical and chemical changes to finally form clinker. The calcination temperature of the carbon rotary kiln is usually ‌ between 1150-1250℃ ‌ mainly used to remove volatiles and moisture from raw materials, improving material density and conductivity.

2. Burner Selection
