  Rotary kiln burner structural characteristics:

  1. The rotary kiln low-nitrogen burner is mainly composed of pipelines, nozzles, metal bellows compensators, butterfly valves, pressure measuring instruments, and protective layers.

Pipelines: From the outside to the inside, they are the axial flow channel, the coal-air channel, the swirl air channel, the central air channel, and the fuel oil pipe. Because the fuel oil pipe is only used for ignition, it is customarily called a four-channel.

Nozzle: Processed from special materials, the outlet area of the swirl air can be adjusted to adjust the ejection speed and air volume of the swirl air. The entire nozzle is a key component for ensuring the flame shape.

Swirl air bellows compensator: It is the main component connecting the inner and outer pipelines of the swirl air, sealing, and adjusting the flame shape.

Butterfly valve: Used to adjust the air volume.

Pressure measuring instrument: Indirectly displays the ejection speed of the air outlet in the burner.

Protective layer: That is, the refractory castable layer, which is cast by the user.

  2. Head structure and working principle:

The pulverized coal is carried by the airflow from the coal-air pipe and ejected outward at a certain diffusion angle. The adjacent auxiliary air gives it a relatively high momentum and momentum moment. The inner swirl air mixes with the ejected pulverized coal airflow and advances spirally at high speed, meeting the high-speed ejected axial airflow. The insertion of the axial airflow further enhances the mixing of coal and air (including the surrounding secondary air), and can adjust the divergence of the flame, and can adjust the length and thickness of the flame as needed to achieve the required flame shape. The role of the central air is to promote the combustion of a small amount of pulverized coal and CO in the central part, making the combustion more complete and playing a stabilizing role. Due to this combustion mechanism and the high speed of the swirl air and axial air, the combustion is very rapid and complete.

  3. Performance characteristics of rotary kiln burner:

  (1) Reasonable structural design, convenient flame adjustment. In addition to adjusting the air volume of the axial air and swirl air, the outlet area of the swirl air can also be adjusted to achieve the purpose of changing the outlet air velocity of the burner, ensuring the normal combustion of the fuel.

  (2) All air ducts of the burner adopt flange connection, easy to disassemble and maintain.

  (3) The nozzle material is easy to replace.

  (4) Reduce the content of CO and NOx: Because the auxiliary air and pulverized coal are mixed more fully and the combustion is faster and more complete, the content of CO and NOx in the kiln tail waste gas is reduced, which is beneficial to the operation of the electrostatic precipitator.
