  I. Burner Structure

From outside to inside: axial flow, swirl flow, main gas, and central air.

  II. Function of Each Channel

  1. Axial flow: Envelops the flame, controls flame dispersion and disorder, and draws in high-temperature secondary air. Combined with the bowl-shaped effect of the outer flame retaining cover, it makes the flame more reasonable. Its speed: 160-220m/s (axial flow).

  2. Swirl flow: Enhances air-gas mixing, increases gas combustion speed and burnout rate. Its speed: 120-180m/s (radial flow).

  3. Main gas: Gas channel during the production process.

  4. Central air: Supplies oxygen for combustion in the center of the flame and stabilizes the flame. Its speed: 40-60 m/s.

III. Ignition and Heating-up Operation Steps

  1. Turn on the valve group power, simultaneously open the pilot gas valve, and check the electric valve switch status.

  2. For the initial ignition, prepare a torch with diesel fuel about 6 meters in length. After lighting the torch, place it directly below the burner nozzle so that the torch flame directly contacts the burner nozzle. Always adhere to the "fire waits for gas" principle for safe ignition.

  3. After the flame stabilizes, slowly open the main gas supply, using the torch flame to ignite the main gas.

  4. Once the main gas combustion is stable, introduce the primary clean air (i.e., combustion air). Adjust the axial flow, swirl flow, and central air electric butterfly valves appropriately to control normal and stable flame combustion.

  5. According to the kiln's heating requirements, adjust the gas flow and each electric butterfly valve appropriately to control the flame.

  6. During normal operation ignition, turn on the power to the electrical cabinet. After the fan has purged for 10 minutes, start the ignition button.

  IV. Precautions:

  1. Before ignition, the fan should be turned on and purged for more than 15 minutes.

  2. If ignition is not successful within 20 seconds, immediately cut off the gas supply, stop gas flow, purge any residual gas in the kiln, and check and troubleshoot before re-igniting.

  3. After stable combustion, leave the torch in place for 10 minutes before removing it.

  4. During ignition and heating-up, the primary clean air should be adjusted appropriately according to the gas consumption; do not use excessive amounts to prevent extinguishing the flame.

  5. After any flameout, purge any residual gas in the kiln, then check and troubleshoot before re-igniting.

  V. Adjustment Operation Method During Normal Burner Production: Flame Control Method

  1. Electric Butterfly Valve Operation:

  a. Axial flow butterfly valve: Open: Flame becomes thinner and longer; Close: Flame becomes thicker and shorter.

  b. Swirl flow butterfly valve: Open: Flame becomes thicker and shorter; Close: Flame becomes thinner and longer.

  c. Central air butterfly valve: Control the gauge pressure between 3-10kpa.

Note: During operation, the gauge pressure of each valve should not exceed the rated pressure of the clean air fan.

  2. Bellows Adjustment: When the electric butterfly valve adjustment cannot meet the production requirements, this adjustment method can be used.

  d. Flame becomes thinner and longer: Compress the axial flow bellows or expand the swirl flow bellows.

  e. Flame becomes thicker and shorter: Expand the axial flow bellows or compress the swirl flow bellows.

  f. Slow down gas ejection speed: Compress the gas bellows.

  g. Speed up gas ejection speed: Expand the gas bellows.

Note: Bellows compression: The distance between the two flanges is shortened, and the outlet area is increased.

Bellows expansion: The distance between the two flanges is extended, and the outlet area is reduced.

Important: Before adjusting the bellows, be sure to loosen the nuts on both sides of the side wind bellows. When adjusting the bellows, consider the gauge pressure and do not exceed the rated pressure increase of the clean air fan.

For example: If the flame is thick and short and needs to be adjusted to be thin and long, and the pressure is high, consider first compressing the axial flow bellows and then expanding the swirl flow bellows to bring the gauge pressure close to the rated pressure of the clean air fan. If the pressure is low, do the opposite.

If the flame is thin and long and needs to be adjusted to be thick and short, and the pressure is high, consider first compressing the swirl flow bellows and then expanding the axial flow bellows to bring the gauge pressure close to the rated pressure increase of the clean air fan. If the gauge pressure is low, adjust in the opposite way.

During adjustment: The axial flow bellows should not be adjusted by more than 5mm at a time.

The swirl flow bellows should not be adjusted by more than 2mm at a time.

  Maximum Adjustment Range:

Axial flow bellows: Relative to the "0" position: ±20mm

  Swirl flow bellows: Relative to the "0" position: Compression allowed: 5mm;

  Expansion allowed: 5mm.

Gas bellows: Relative to the "0" position: ±20mm

Note: Avoid adjusting the bellows multiple times within 24 hours. Observe for 1-2 days after each adjustment.

Inspection and Cleaning of the Nozzle:

Each time the kiln is stopped, the burner nozzle should be inspected for blockages and wear. If blocked, it must be cleaned immediately. Cleaning method:

Turn on the clean air fan (combustion air fan) and then use a wire to poke the nozzle until there is no foreign object detected by hand.

Valve and Valve Group Installation Order:

Manual ball valve-electric intelligent ball valve-manual butterfly valve.

Electric intelligent ball valve is used for adjusting the combustion process of the burner.

Manual butterfly valve is used for throttling.

Please contact the manufacturer for specific operation and installation requirements.
