Features of the old sand roasting furnace burner: The roasting furnace burner, also known as the roasting furnace nozzle, is an important combustion device that injects fuel into the boiling furnace chamber for ignition and combustion to roast silica sand.

1. The output of an old sand roasting furnace is generally around 2-3 tons. Taking natural gas as an example, a 300,000-400,000 kcal nozzle is selected, with a design hourly gas consumption of 30-45 cubic meters, and a reference operating cost of 17-25 cubic meters/ton of sand (reference value).
2. High-speed long flame burner, high roasting quality. The flame ejection speed is over 100 m/s. As shown in the video, the combustion speed is fast and the efficiency is high. The burner combustion tube material uses high-temperature resistant 310S stainless steel or silicon carbide tube, which can withstand temperatures above 1100℃ and has a service life of more than 5 years, reducing equipment maintenance rate and downtime losses.
3. High-precision UV probe and leakage alarm device design, real-time monitoring of the flame combustion status and gas leakage situation. Once the fire is extinguished or leakage occurs, the system will generate an audible and visual alarm and immediately cut off the fuel valve to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment operation. The combustion tube length is 200-500 mm, obliquely inserted into the furnace wall, and high-speed flue gas is directly sprayed onto the material.
4. The roasting furnace control cabinet is designed with various automatic control functions. An automatic temperature control function is designed according to the roasting temperature process requirements, and it is connected to the central control room DCS technology for remote monitoring.
In addition, old sand roasting furnaces can also use oil burners: diesel, heavy oil, methanol, alcohol-based fuels, etc. Oil burners must ensure complete combustion and prevent oil dripping and leakage. Compressed air atomization and liquefied gas are used for pilot ignition and auxiliary combustion to ensure stable combustion of fuel oil.
