Basic Concepts of Natural Gas Burners:
1. Natural Gas Direct Flame Burner: Also known as a long flame burner, it has a longer flame and is commonly used in rotary kiln burners; the flame length reaches about 5 meters.
2. Natural Gas Direct Flame Burner Combustion Process:
3. The combustion of a natural gas direct flame burner generally consists of three processes: mixing of fuel gas and air; heating and ignition of the mixed gas; combustion of the mixed gas. The condition for stable flame is that the flame propagation speed and the flow speed of the combustible gas mixture are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
Burner Blowoff: The flame leaves the stable point because the mixing speed of fuel gas and air exceeds the flame propagation speed.
Burner Flashback: The flame propagates into the burner because the mixing speed of fuel gas and air is less than the flame propagation speed.
Neither blowoff nor flashback is the ideal combustion state for a burner. Most burners use a flame stabilizer structure to achieve a good state.
