  I. Overview of Diesel Burners

  A device that burns diesel fuel, mainly used in: forging heating furnaces, steel rolling heating furnaces, dryers, rotary kilns, and other industrial heating equipment. It is more widely used in industrial furnaces and kilns abroad.   II. Airflow Adjustment in Diesel Burners is Crucial.

  A regulating valve is installed on the air duct before the burner to adjust the airflow. In low-pressure oil burners, air is not only a combustion aid but also an atomizing agent. When adjusting the oil flow, such as reducing the oil flow, the amount of air required for combustion should also be reduced accordingly. At this time, if only the valve on the pipeline is adjusted, the air volume and air speed at the air nozzle will decrease simultaneously, which will inevitably worsen the atomization quality.

  Most low-pressure oil burners have an adjusting device inside the burner, which adjusts the air volume by changing the cross-sectional area of the air outlet. In this way, the air volume can be reduced without reducing the air speed, thus preventing the deterioration of atomization quality. Some burners divide the air into primary air and secondary air. Atomization relies on primary air, and load adjustment relies on secondary air, resulting in more stable atomization quality, but the adjustment ratio is limited.

  III. Diesel burners can be designed with automatic control functions, including automatic ignition, flameout alarm and safety shutdown, and automatic temperature control. Interfacing with the central control room allows for remote control. The burner combustion tube material is selected from stainless steel 310s or silicon carbide, which can withstand high temperatures of 1100-1300℃, with a service life of more than 5 years. The combustion tube length is 300mm or longer, depending on the requirements of the supporting heating equipment. A high-precision UV probe monitors the flame combustion status in real time. Once the flame goes out, the system will generate an audible and visual alarm and immediately cut off the fuel valve.
